Pure Strength Class | Aug 19th
This morning’s Pure Weights session was all about strength with a little core focus. We mixed things up with single-dumbbell and double-dumbbell moves, finishing with some ab work to really fire up the midsection. A brilliant way to start the day feeling strong and energised!

This morning’s Weights + Active Rest session packed a punch! I woke up feeling tired after a rough night’s sleep, so at first I wondered if it was just me… but nope — it was a genuinely tough one. We tackled some strong, challenging exercises that left the muscles well worked and the energy buzzing. Job done!

Today’s yoga flow focused on opening the body through deep side bends, creating space along the spine, ribs, and waist. We balanced energising yang stretches to awaken and strengthen with soothing yin holds to release tension and invite calm. A practice for length, balance, and quiet vitality.

This morning’s yoga practice was a gentle exploration of our own bodies—tuning into areas where we may be holding tension or tightness, often without even realising it. We moved slowly and intuitively, edging into each stretch with curiosity rather than force. By listening closely to the subtle cues from our bodies, we allowed space for awareness and release, cultivating a deeper connection to how we feel from the inside out.

This morning's Strength class was a real challenge. I found myself needing to drop down in weight at times, listening to my body and adjusting as I went. It was one of those sessions where everything was working hard — muscles firing, breath deep, focus sharp. Tough, yes, but so satisfying.

Morning! Today’s Dumbbell class brought the sweat! We pushed through strong sets with active rest in between—keeping the heart rate up while still giving the muscles a moment to recover. It was a tough but energising session, striking that sweet balance between strength and stamina.

This morning’s Pure Strength class was a perfect blend of standing and floor-based work, using both one and two dumbbells to challenge the body in different ways. We focused on control, good form, and building strength from the inside out — a steady, satisfying session that left us feeling strong, stable, and ready for the day ahead.
Weights & Active Rest | July 17th
Today's Weights & Active Rest class was my absolute favourite – it flew by! We alternated between 40 seconds of strength-based exercises and 35 seconds of optional cardio. That "active rest" could be high-impact, low-impact, or simply sticking with weights – whatever felt right. The sweat was unreal, but so was the energy. Such a satisfying mix of power, pace, and personal choice – love this format!

Today’s yoga session centred on grounding through ouija breathwork—a beautiful way to settle the mind and stay present. We focused on building strength by spending time in each pose, allowing the body to fully experience the effect of every movement and transition. I hope you step off the mat feeling steady, empowered, and just a little more connected to yourself.

Cardio, Core & Strength – Last session of this term
A quieter online class this morning, with many away on holidays, but we still brought the energy! We dialled down the music tempo during our core section to focus more deeply on abdominal strength and control. Weights featured throughout – as always – because resistance training is a non-negotiable when it comes to building strength, supporting bone health, and boosting overall fitness.

This morning’s online yoga focused on shoulders — opening, strengthening, and softening. We used the belt to explore deeper stretches and create more space, especially in those areas that tend to hold tension. A gentle yet powerful practice to start the day feeling freer across the upper body.
