A strong session to round off our two-week term. Come in with plenty of energy — we’ll be adding more movement into the weights, then building into some higher-impact work. It’s a lively one, and you’ll definitely feel it… expect a good sweat by the end!

A bright spring morning and you could feel it in the energy today — the sunshine really does make those early starts that bit easier. We moved through a lovely mix of strength work using one and two weights, keeping things steady but effective, with a few well-placed core exercises woven in. And a gentle reminder that your core is always working during your weights, supporting you through every movement. A really balanced, feel-good session 🌞

Today’s class was a tough one. Building the sequence round by round really challenged both body and mind. But that’s where the magic is — when we realise we can do a little more than we thought we could. Strong work today everyone.

Lovely work this morning. That was a full body weights session with very little rest in between, so your muscles got a proper challenge from top to toe. You stayed with it all the way through — strong and steady.

Pure Weights I Feb 23rd
Today’s Strength class was all about laying solid foundations for the week ahead. We focused on controlled, purposeful movements — building strength steadily rather than rushing through reps. A little lower body work to ground us, some upper body to lift us, and of course a steady core to hold it all together.
No drama, no frenzy — just strong, capable bodies doing what they’re designed to do.

This morning’s Strength & Active Rest was all about strong, supported shoulders and layered plank variations. We worked through challenge and recovery in equal measure — building strength without rushing, finding steadiness in the holds, and reminding the body what it can do.

Today’s strength class was a good one — solid, steady and definitely challenging in all the right ways. We built heat gradually and then leaned into it… especially with that bicep sequence. I suspect there may be a few reminders of it tomorrow 😉

A solid Strong Weights session today with plenty of active rest to keep the body moving without overdoing it. Steady, strong work from start to finish.
Pure Weights I Feb 9th
Today’s Pure Strength class was more challenging than usual, with longer time spent on each set. Expect some DOMS over the next couple of days — totally normal after this kind of work.

We wrapped up the term with a strong, lively class — weights throughout, with lots of jumping between sets to keep things dynamic and fun. Feel as high as a kite now lol.

We got the body going with one of my favourite warm-ups, which I’ve been using a lot lately on mornings when I’m not doing a specific class — just enough to get me moving, especially if I’m feeling a bit tired. Try it.
We moved through a mix of 1 and 2 weight exercises, with options for higher or lower intensity active rest throughout.

Today’s class took things down a notch—less intensity, more full–body goodness. Ideal for days when you’re feeling a little jaded (as I definitely was!).

Pure Weights I Jan 5th
This morning’s Pure Weights class focused on a mix of single-weight and double-weight exercises, with a bit of tempo play to really feel the work and improve control. I’ve just started the HBD reset, so I chose lighter weights than I’d normally use, which also made it a nice opportunity to focus on form, time under tension and moving with intention rather than load.
