What to Expect

The benefits of yoga for teenagers cannot be underestimated. A weekly yoga practice is an investment in their health, both physical & mental. Yoga builds strength, increases flexibility, lengthens muscles, increases coordination and balance, builds core stability and improves posture. In this 6 week term, you will learn how to settle your racing thoughts, learn how to let things go & simply be in the moment. You will learn many breathing techniques that you can adapt in your daily life, when moments in life feel "difficult". All of these techniques will help with the anxiety and pressure that often comes with student life.
