What to Expect

Welcome to my Weights Class in Dublin 5: Sculpt Your Body and Boost Your Metabolism! Have weights at home that are gathering dust? Fed up with the gym scene dominated by 'Selfie Takers' and 'Gym bunnies' or perhaps the gym scene is just not for you. We all recognize the importance of weight training, especially for women. However, the key lies not just in lifting weights but in lifting them properly. If you've yet to explore the world of weights but have the curiosity to start, let me be your guide! When I first trained as a fitness instructor, step aerobics was my obsession, and weights were nowhere on my radar. However, once I switched to regular weights sessions, the transformation in my body shape was astounding. Toned arms and newfound confidence in sleeveless tops—trust me, the results spoke for themselves. But don't just take my word for it. Commit to a term, and witness the changes yourself. I'll guide you through with some homework (just 5 minutes a day), ensuring your progress between classes. 🏋️‍♂️ What You Need: For this class, you'll need two sets of weights—an easily manageable warm-up weight (even something from your house) and a training weight. Not sure about the training weight? Do 13 reps, and by the 13th, you should feel that satisfying challenge. Carry your weights in a backpack for convenience and better body alignment. Grab a towel, water, and an exercise band. I personally recommend the high-quality bands from Decathlon. Learn the art of proper weight lifting, and who knows, you might just become hooked on this empowering form of exercise. 🏋️‍♂️ Consistency is Key: Show up every week—for yourself.
